Using SessionStem
SessionStem provides studio workspaces for audio review, approvals, scheduling, payment-gated delivery, file delivery, and related support workflows.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the project, client, schedule, payment, and delivery information you enter into SessionStem and for ensuring you have permission to upload and share the audio or other files you manage through the service.
You must not use SessionStem to upload unlawful material, infringe someone else's rights, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse review links, payment tools, or calendar integrations.
Accounts and workspaces
Workspace admins are responsible for maintaining account access, controlling who can access projects, protecting review links, and managing connected providers such as payment accounts and calendar accounts.
Clients may access review links without creating full admin accounts. A studio is responsible for the links it sends and for confirming that each recipient should have access to the project.
Calendar integrations
When a workspace admin connects Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Apple Calendar, or another supported calendar provider, SessionStem may create, update, or cancel session events for that connected account.
SessionStem calendar sync depends on third-party provider availability, permissions, and configuration. You can disconnect a calendar provider from the Schedule page or revoke provider access from the provider account settings.
SessionStem is not responsible for missed sessions, incorrect session details, provider outages, or calendar changes caused by incomplete information, revoked access, or third-party service behavior.
Payments and delivery
SessionStem may integrate with payment providers so studios can collect balances before file delivery. Payment provider terms, processing fees, onboarding, disputes, refunds, and compliance obligations remain between the studio, client, and payment provider, and provider processing fees are deducted from the studio's payment account.
Depending on the workspace's subscription plan, SessionStem may retain a platform fee from payments collected through payment-gated delivery (currently 4% on the Starter plan and 0% on the Studio and Pro plans), deducted automatically before funds settle to the studio's connected payment account. Current fee terms are shown on the pricing page and in workspace payment settings.
SessionStem may gate downloads based on payment or approval status, but studios remain responsible for their client agreements, pricing, taxes, refunds, licensing, and final delivery decisions.
Files and client content
Studios retain responsibility for the audio files, project materials, comments, client data, and other content they upload or manage through SessionStem.
SessionStem may process files, generate playback or delivery versions, track approvals, and store operational records needed to provide the service.
You grant SessionStem the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, display, and deliver your content for the purpose of operating the service.
Service changes and availability
SessionStem may change features, integrations, limits, plans, or infrastructure over time. Some features may be beta, experimental, or dependent on third-party providers.
SessionStem aims to keep the service reliable, but does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or permanent availability of any third-party integration.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SessionStem is provided as is and as available. SessionStem is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost business, or lost opportunities.
Nothing in these terms limits rights or obligations that cannot be limited under applicable law.
